XClass is a great tool to very simply check what sub-classes need to be included in a trademark application and ensure your product range is fully protected. “ China IPR SME Helpdesk.

So how does XClass work? It’s easy visit www.hfgip.com/xclass and see for yourself the database which contains all the goods and services that can be validly designated in a trademark application in China according to the relevant regulation from State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC). Goods and services are divided into classes (same as Nice Classification) and subclasses (peculiarity of the Chinese system).
