UNIFAB Forum: Which future for IP?
HFG colleague Crystal Yulan Zhang was at the meeting of the Forum Européen de la Propriété Intellectuelle (European Intellectual Property Forum) organized by UNIFAB (Union des Fabricants), a French Association which aims to promote and defend Intellectual Property.
About 400 professionals from brands, law firms, government authorities and other organizations attended the event and covered topics of IP rights from the perspective of legislation, awareness, environment and digital.
During the 2 days of the forum many interesting topics were covered by international professionals: among others, Ecological impacts of counterfeiting, upcycling, recycling, CSR, virtuous destruction; Legal framework for influencers, online proactive measures, collaboration with platforms; Application of DSA text, NFT and caselaw, Brand images, product placements, alternated reality.
Award ceremony and networking events were included too.
