HFG attended the 2023 China Trademark Festival

Our partners Fabio Giacopello and Reinout van Malenstein, together with Ariel Huang and Fredrick Xie, were in Dongguan last weekend for the China Trademark Festival, an appointment full of meetings and social events.

The China Trademark Festival is organized every year by the China Trademark Association (CTA), a national social organization established in 1994 upon approval by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, operating under the guidance of the National Intellectual Property Administration.

One of the main purposes of CTA is to strengthen the creation, protection, and exploitation of intellectual property rights. For this reason, every year it organizes this Trademark Festival that represents a great communication platform for peers from trademark circles, and provides a good opportunity for education and exchange.

The theme of the 2023 edition of the China Trademark Festival, held in Dongguan from June 16 to 19, was “Trademarks Empower New Development, Brands Lead Dual Circulation”.

This year's CTF was mainly composed of the China Trademark Annual Meeting, the China Brand Trademark Expo and other series of theme activities. The China Trademark Annual Meeting included the main forum and sub-forums in various forms and rich in content.

Attendees were leaders of National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the relevant authorities, representatives from the local governments and People's Courts at various levels, and Administrative Authorities for Market Supervision.

Officials from International organizations and overseas trademark authorities, Hong Kong and Macao, representatives of intellectual property NGOs, domestic and foreign well-known experts as well as members of CTA, guests from enterprises and trademark agencies home and abroad also attended the event.

HFG is excited and happy to have had the opportunity to attend this significant festival.
