HFG at ASIPI Conference in Quito, Ecuador
The ASIPI Seminar "Financial World of Intellectual Property" was held in Quito, Ecuador, on June 4-6, 2023: it dealt with the world of intangibles, the criteria for their valuation and the ways to monetize them, from the hand of great experts on the subject of the academic and business fields.
Our HFG partner and Head of LATAM desk, Daniel de Prado Escudero, was there to hear about intangible assets and how they are gaining more and more relevance in the market given the great impact they have on the well-being of companies.
The identification of intangible assets and their measurement are essential to define business strategies where intellectual property has positioned itself as the most valuable asset.
ASIPI is the most international and recognized associations of Intellectual Property that brings together colleagues from all over latin-american countries and the world.
Since its creation until today, ASIPI (Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property), through the actions of its different Executive Committees, Work Committees and meetings held throughout the region, has been involved in the positive and accelerated evolution that intellectual property has had worldwide, answering effectively and responsibly to the emerging challenges and perspectives and playing a prominent role as platform for the economic, social and legal development of our countries.
