The National Intellectual Property (IP) Week 2024 will be held on April 20-26.

The theme of the event is "Promoting high-quality development by facilitating the commercialization and utilization of intellectual property rights". The organization of the events will be led by China's National Intellectual Property Administration, the Central Publicity Department and the State Administration for Market Regulation, in cooperation with 18 other authorities, including the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

This year's National IP Week features distinct themes, different formats, and numerous highlights. Among them, the emphasis on presenting achievements will make use of promotional videos, themed exhibitions and other means to comprehensively showcase the achievements of China's IP initiatives, creating a strong atmosphere to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The events will highlight the theme by designing promotional posters illustrating the marketing and use of IP, demonstrating the crucial role of IP in developing new quality production forces, enhancing brand competitiveness, increasing cultural soft power, activating new regional dynamics, and adding new vitality to the economy.

It will also emphasize multi-party coordination by extensively mobilizing localities to conduct related activities, increasing the number of sub-venues for the National IP Publicity Week, and creating a new situation for IP publicity work that involves multiple parties and is carried out on a wide scale.

Furthermore, it will highlight public participation by utilizing online live broadcasts, short videos, and other mediums to conduct publicity both online and offline to audiences at home and abroad, telling China's IP stories both domestically and internationally.

During this year's National IP Publicity Week, CIPNews will focus on innovative communication methods related to the event's theme, vividly showcasing distinctive activities and work highlights from various regions.
